Our services: What are your options?

You are facing difficult choices. You may feel as if you are being pulled in a million different directions. We know that your decision may be difficult. But it is important to know the facts before you decide. We are here to provide you with accurate, up-to-date information to help you make an informed choice.

What are my choices?

Parenting: This is not an easy choice. It is difficult to make this decision when you feel that your career, education, financial stability and relationships are at stake. These are valid concerns and our counselors will examine these issues further with you. Parenting is a lifelong commitment with many challenges and rewards. Thankfully, you do not have to face it alone. Our counselors will be there for you and will help you prepare over the next several months if you decide to parent.

Abortion: This is not an easy choice. It is difficult not to make a decision when you feel that your career, education, financial stability and relationships are in jeopardy. These are valid concerns and our counselors will examine these issues with you. The decision to abort should not be made under pressure. It is your body, your choice. Is someone pressuring you to have an abortion? It is your future that will be effected. More information on Abortion Procedures.

Adoption: This is not an easy choice. Often, this seems to be the most difficult decision, regardless of its impact on your career, education financial stability and relationships. The idea of carrying a child for nine months only to release her/him into the care of another family may seem emotionally impossible. However, if parenting a child at this point in your life would be difficult, this option may have some benefits you haven't thought about. Our counselors will help you examine this option further.

All services provided by Choices Pregnancy Center are free and confidential. Our services include:

• Reliable pregnancy testing with immediate results while you wait...
  appointments are preferred, but walk ins are welcome (see hours)
• Accurate information and education about all of your options.
• Confidential consultation with client advocate and medical personnel who care about you.
• Confidential consultation with someone who cares about you.
• Pregnancy verification.
• Ultrasound as indicated.
• STD testing for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, HIV and Syphilis. (men and women)
• Education about sexual health.
• Adoption counseling and referrals.
• Abortion recovery counseling (individual and group).
• Emotional support for you and those who care about you.
• Referrals to community resources and agencies, medical care, adoption and foster care, financial assistance, housing, social services, and more.
• "Earn While You Learn" sessions where you may earn "baby bucks" for new items and clothing for your baby.
• Gently used nursery items and clothing with your commiment to ongoing counseling.

Because we believe that everyone should have access to these services and information, all of our services are free and confidential, and are offered to you whether you are single or married, regardless of age, race or religion.

The services provided by the Center are not substitutes for prenatal care or professional counseling.
