What if I Change My Mind?

It may not be too late.

If you are questioning your abortion decision, you are not alone. We’re here to help. Some women who have taken the abortion pill experience regret. Abortion Pill Reversal is a medical procedure available to reverse the effects of the first abortion pill (mifepristone) by interrupting the process.

What is the “Abortion Pill” or Medical Abortion

The abortion pill is actually 2 pills. The first pill (mifepristone) blocks progesterone – a hormone needed for developing a healthy baby. The second pill (misoprostol) is usually taken 36-72 hours later, expels the embryo.

What is the Abortion Pill Reversal?

Some doctors have begun using natural progesterone off-label to counteract the effects of the abortion pill.  Under a doctor’s care, some women have successfully continued their pregnancies and given birth to healthy babies after taking just the first pill (mifepristone) of a medical/chemical abortion.  If you have taken the abortion pill and have changed your mind, please call us right away!

This use of progesterone is currently being studied.  Women should not attempt to counteract the abortion pill without the assistance of a medical professional.  For more information see or call 877-558-0333.
